Turning Thirty: Journeying with an OC for 30 YearsWell, I can't believe it. "Of lies and Legacies", and consequently, my main OC turn thirty as of August 30.
I created Martin and his story when I was on vacation in Adelaide, Australia back in 1984. Some of you are old enough to remember that year.I was fifteen.
So how do you stick with something this long. With the same character? Don't you ever get bored???
I think the reason I haven't abandoned the whole project is because I wanted to see it through.
Before Deviant Art and the internet, it was very difficult to find people who thought the same way or had the same interests. You couldn't Google, Facebook or Meet up. You had to look in the papers, community center or library notice boards, or try to find a non-seedy comic book shop that had events going on.
When Martin was created, I had no one to tell me whether or not I was doing something worthwhile. So the story stayed in a file, in a binder, occasionally seeing the light of day in art class, English class or on my pa

First picture Miiverse quote: Pic of the day. In Classic mode, you challenge multiple stages en route to a climactic final battle. The more gold you put onto the Fiend's Scale, the harder the battles will be. In return, your rewards will get better and more abundant. The best way to earn gold fast is to win Classic battles on higher intensity.
Second picture Miiverse quote: In Classic mode, you can choose your next challenge on the route map. Looks like Master Hand is waiting at the end, but perhaps something might change if you raise the intensity…?!
These pictures didn't really tell us anything we didn't know, with the difficulty setting acting like in Kid Icarus: Uprising, and Master Hand being the final boss. However, we did learn that the final boss may change depending on the difficult
Music Spotlight: Michael JacksonIt seems every once in a while in-between doing fanfictions I come up with something different than a Phineas and Ferb story, but what do you expect when there's 104 billion days in Phineas and Ferb's universe of summer?
So I'd like to introduce to you a new story segment entitled: 'Music Spotlight'.
In these segments, I'll look at a particular singer/band and only focus on what I know them best for.
Today's lucky spotlight is Michael Jackson and what timing too, in a few days it's what would have been his 56th birthday had he not died around four years ago. Although I'm not really sure I could picture him doing a moonwalk at 90 years old either.
Now a quick summary of his family history, his dad was a jerk who wanted to make his kids famous in the 1970s when disco was still a thing and would only die out when 1980 rolled around. Michael wanted to join his brothers in the group but his dad was just like "nope" but then I guess his mom finally talked him into it or he finally conceded o

Life as a Princess: Episode 144
Life as a Princess
Welcome back to the show. I've got a lot of news after a little break again. I'm not sure about the release schedule we've got going here. I'll have to run it with the network later.
In World News
Russia has sent tanks into Ukraine, effectively continuing their military involvement in this stupid conflict. It's getting really frustrating hearing Russia always taking the top news stories. Putin just wants the fame, and it is clear he needs to resort to making the U.S. mad to get said publicity. Well, I don't like him. If he dies, that's certainly not gonna bother anyone in the UN. Count on that.
In Media News
I don't know if you know this, but the Playstation Network was hacked on Sunday again, and the hackers even threatened American Airlines to the point where they landed one of their planes containing a Sony executive. The culprits are believed to be a group called Lizard Squad. I have no opinion on this. Hackers are bad, but my Sony telev
Being FamousI have this strange idea, that if you are really, really famous, you belong to everybody.
Not exactly in a sense that everyone can have you, and use you as they want to.
But your life, your love, feelings, your family, lovers and friends aren't only yours anymore.
Your fans can have you and use you in their imagination, fanart and fanfiction. They can have you as action-figures, in all the countless photos of you, gossip websites and memes.
You get millions of additional lives. And they are all yours and theirs.
And it's done. You do belong to everybody. You're a person-symbol. You're not-anonymous forever.
On a collective level, in the consciousness of the crowd, you are there. And there's nothing wrong with that.
As much you belong to everyone who praise or hate you, the same much your fans and haters belong to you.
You are a hub.
That's a fine art of breathing with the crowd.
Al Andalus (Oriental Symphonic Metal)
1) Hello and welcome here! Let's introduce yourself!
Hi, I'm Christian and at the moment the only guy behind Al Andalus. Lot of people think because of my music that I'm a Muslim or an arab guy but - surprise - I'm not. I'm half german, half spanish and I live here in Germany. It was my personal interest in general oriental culture and history and music which bring me to write oriental influenced music
2) Al Andalus: it's perfect for describing your music!
Yes, indeed it is. To know why, you need to know what exactly Al andalus is: Al Andalus was originally the name a medieval islamic state on the Iberian Peninsula (now Spain and Portugal) and its used generally to describe all regions of Spain which were controlled by Muslims between 711 and the Reconquista in 1492. Nowadays Al Andalus is known commonly for multiculturalism, tolerance and peace between religions, especially between Muslims and Christians. So that's what I am...a Spanish Christian making Oriental "Islamic" metal.
